Another Semi-Final

This evening Barry and Neil played the Area 1, Division 1 Semi-Final of the Surrey Men’s Pairs Competition. Playing away at Colliers Wood, honours were shared early on before Colliers Wood picked up a 4 and a 1 to lead 8 – 3. A four to Wimbledon Park brought Barry and Neil right back in to the game, only for their opponents to take the next seven ends to leave Wimbledon Park 7 – 21 down. Needing 15 shots to tie the game with 5 ends remaining, WPBC picked up a three and were holding 4 on the next end before the Colliers Wood skip once again changed the situation by drawing shot. It was the continuation of a very good evening for Colliers Wood and a disappointing one for Wimbledon Park. Final score 11 – 25; thanks to Jonathan for his support.
