Close Encounter in the Rain

May 18th – this evening Neil travelled to Streatham Park for the first round of the Surrey Champion of Champions Competition. Despite the rain, both bowlers drew well with Neil edging ahead early on to lead 15 – 8, before his opponent upped a couple of gears, pulling away to take the game 21 – 16.
