Close Encounter in the Surrey Ladies’ Pairs

17.5.19 – This evening Claire and Sabrina welcomed Heathfield to Wimbledon Park for the Surrey Ladies’ Pairs. After close early exchanges WPBC led 6 – 5 after 4 ends before Heathfield pulled away to lead 21 – 9 after 15 ends. A strong finish by Claire and Sabrina saw them win 5 of the final 6 ends but it was Heathfield who advanced to the next round with a 22 – 18 win.
