District Ladies’ Pairs Semi-Final

On Monday evening Caroline and Vera (sub for Sue F) were up at Belmont to play Temple in the last of the District Semi-Finals, the Ladies’ Pairs. A three on end 2 saw WPBC off to a good start but Temple responded by winning 7 of the next 9 ends to lead 16 – 8. After a valiant performance, pushing Temple to the 17th end, hands were shaken with Temple going through to the final with a 20 – 12 win.
