District Mixed Triples WPBC v WPBC

On Monday afternoon the Semi-Final of the District Mixed Triples took place between Anne, Pete and Martin and Jackie, Dave and Neil. Martin’s triple started well winning the first four ends to lead 5 – 0. A count of 5 on the next end gave Neil’s triple some points on the board and by the 9^th end, despite only having won three ends, it was Neil’s triple that lead 10 – 7. The second half saw further close drawing from both teams and although both sides won 8 ends, hands were shaken after 16 ends with Jackie, Dave and Neil through to the club’s 5th District Final 22 – 9.
