District Over-60’s Semi-Final

On Wednesday afternoon Neil was up at South London for the Semi-Final of the District Over-60 Singles against Mitcham. Starting strongly Neil led 11 – 1 after 7 ends, before Mitcham narrowed the gap to 12 – 7 six ends later. Neil pulled away over the next three ends to lead 19 – 7, before another come back from Mitcham saw the gap down to 19 – 13 after 21 ends. A final two to Neil saw the club’s 7th place in the District Final with a 21 – 13 win.
