Double Success in Today’s Singles Matches

26.5.19 – This afternoon Wimbledon Park players were represented in two singles competitions with Sabrina away at Heathfield in the Surrey Ladies’ Unbadged Singles and Neil at home in the National Men’s Over-55 Singles. Sabrina dominated from the off, leading 10 – 0 after 3 ends. Victory came after 13 ends with a 21 – 3 win and a place in the last four in Zone 1 was secured.

Back at Wimbledon Park Neil opened up a 10 – 3 lead, before his opponent from Temple levelled at 10 – 10. Despite the idiosyncrasies of the green both players continued to draw well with Neil coming out on top with a 21 – 15 win.
