It Was Not To Be…

This evening at Wandilea, Rose (Magdalen Park), Luke and Jonathan played Heathfield for a place in the District final of the Mixed Triples. Unfortunately the opposition proved to be far more consistent and the game was conceded after 13 ends with the score at 5 – 20.

Today’s result leaves Wimbledon Park with finalists in the Mixed Singles, Mixed Pairs and a guarantee of another finalist in the Men’s Pairs, following Sunday’s re-arranged semi-final. There is also a chance of a fourth final place tomorrow in the Men’s Pairs.

Please note there will not be a taster session this Saturday morning due to the club finals. The next taster session will be 11-12.30 on Saturday 12th September.
