Latest League Result Away at Merton

20.7.19 – This afternoon we headed to Merton BC for our latest league match. First to finish were Ange, Vernon, Sabrina and Barry who found the going tough. Despite winning 8 of the 21 ends they were glad to get off the green following a 12 – 27 loss. Second off were Anne, George, Richard and Martin who started well and led 15 – 5 after 12 ends. The second half however belonged to our hosts who dominated the second half to win 23 – 19. Last off were Mike, Sara, Ossie and Neil who had a bit of a roller-coaster afternoon, going from leading 11 – 5 to being 11 – 15 down 4 ends later, before closing out the game to win 29 – 16. Match result 2 – 8 (60 shots to 66).
