League Defeat away at South London

July 29th – This afternoon we played away at South London in our latest Wimbledon and District League fixture. In a shortened format, brought about by the wet weather, Rosalind, Betty, Vernon and Martin found their opponents in fine form eventually succumbing to a 2 – 36 defeat. Anne, Helen, Sabrina and Barry also found the going tough finishing at 6 – 17. Ange, Christine, George and Neil could fair no better either, losing 10 – 20. Match result 0 – 10 (18 shots to 73).
