League Match v Merton

28.6.25 – This afternoon we were away at Merton BC for the first of this weekend’s league matches. Jackie, Bob, Mark and Pete played well throughout and were 13 – 6 up after 9 ends, going on to win 19 – 13. Caroline, Jay, Claire T and Martin found the opposing skip in fine form and were 4 – 16 down after 11 ends, before an incredible turn around saw them close the gap to just 3 shots, going down 16 – 19. James, Paul, Richard F and Neil started with a 6, but found themselves 7 – 8 down after 8 ends. The second half belonged to WPBC though as they took the win 25 – 12. Match result 8 – 2 (60 shots to 44).
