League Match v South London

25.6.23 – This afternoon we played South London, the league leaders, in our latest home league match. First to finish were Rosalind, Mark, Bobby and Sabrina who had a really tough draw with two past Surrey Champions playing against them. To their credit they dug deep and kept the score close going down 10 – 20. Second off were Luke, Jackie, Richard F and Pete who had a close match throughout, just edging out South London 14 – 12. Last off were Anne, Caroline, Claire T and Neil who managed to pull away at the end to win 23 – 10. A tremendous achievement, helped by three of our new bowlers, Caroline, Jackie and Mark who were making their league debuts and who accredited themselves really well. Match result 8 – 2 (47 shots to 42).
