Tremendous Tussle in the District Mixed Pairs

26.6.23 – This evening, Claire T and Martin played Sabrina and Barry in the District Mixed Pairs and what a match it turned out to be. Each time one of the teams began to open up a lead, the other team closed it down, until after 15 ends, the scores were level at 14 – 14. On end 16, a single went to Claire and Martin, on end 17, Sabrina and Barry picked up two shots and on the final end, after the closest of measures, Claire and Martin picked up the two shots they needed to win 17 – 16.
