Not to be in the Semi-final of the District Ladies Pairs

3.9.18 – This evening over at Southey BC, Alison and Sabrina took on Wandilea in the semi-final of the District Ladies Pairs. Facing tough opposition, it was Wandilea who started the stronger with some consistent high quality drawing, forcing Wimbledon Park to play many weighty bowls. After about a third of the game had elapsed, just after Alison was unfortunately stung by a wasp, Wandilea began to pull ahead, going on to book their place in the final on Sunday.
