Oh So Close!

30.7.19 – This afternoon Neil played for Surrey as they took on Bedfordshire at Purley BC. With rain falling steadily throughout the afternoon, and 3 of the Bedfordshire bowlers getting lost after arriving at Purley Bury BC, the game was reduced to 18 ends. Despite this, Neil, playing at two, was on the Top Rink who managed to win 30 – 4. Unfortunately the game slipped away from Surrey over the final few ends leaving them two shots adrift at 100 – 102.
