Quarter-final of the Club-night Aggregate Shield

Sep 6th – This evening saw the Quarter-finals drawn for the Aggregate Shield, the culmination of the season long Wednesday club-night competition. The top 8 available points scorers went into the hat and the draw saw Pete, Sabrina, Barry and Christine up against Mary, Derek, Neil and Rosalind. With players moving up a place in the rink after every three ends, everything was set for an interesting evening’s play. The match was played in a great atmosphere, with much hilarity and banter, however the result went to Pete, Sabrina, Barry and Christine who will be in the hat to be drawn as pairs next week, following their 11 – 4 victory.
