Results of the Challoner Cup

22.9.19 – This afternoon the season came to its conclusion with the ‘Round-Robin, One-Day’ competition, played for the Challoner Cup. 11 people took to the green, split into two pools, with each person playing 4 matches of 6 ends. At the end of the group stage Neil emerged as the winner of Pool A, with 11 points, closely followed by Claire and Anne both on 10. Pool B was won by Pete on 12 points, with Barry as Runner-Up, also on 10. During the break a further £85 was raised for our 2019 charity, Alzheimer’s Research, through a raffle. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes and to Ange and Lesley for their lovely homemade cakes!

In the final, played over 8 ends, Pete beat Neil 9 – 5 to win the Challoner Cup.
