Second Match in the Weekend Double-Header

4.8.19 – This afternoon we travelled to Mitcham for the return leg of the weekend’s two league matches. Ange, Luke, Richard and Martin found themselves up against a strong Mitcham four and were 6 – 13 down at 10 ends, a lead which Mitcham maintained to win the game 27 – 19. Claire, Sam (making his debut), Ossie and Neil had a tight game throughout but 4 shots on the final end saw them edge the game 18 – 15. Anne, Rosalind, Pete and Barry were 19 – 6 up at 11 ends, helped by picking up a count of 7 on the 3rd end, going on to win the match 33 – 11. Match result 8 – 2 (70 shots to 53).
