Surrey Area 1 Men’s Pairs Final

June 29th – This evening Pete and Martin played the Area Final of the Surrey Men’s Pairs competition over at Wandilea BC. Being drawn against the home side, the first end went to Wimbledon Park 2 – 0, unfortunately for them the home players then got into their stride opening up a 15 – 3 lead after 12 ends. 5 ends later and WPBC were back in the game trailing 14 – 16, before dropping a count of four. As the game concluded it was Wandilea who advanced to the quarter-finals with a 22 – 18 win.
