Surrey Pairs – A Close Encounter

Barry and Neil travelled to Heathfield this evening for the first game in the Surrey Pairs. Following close exchanges, the scores were level at 6 – 6 after 10 ends, before a run of seven ends without reply saw Barry and Neil edge ahead. A count of 4 and, on the penultimate end, 5 against them brought things back to 17 – 15 at 20 ends, but two shots on the last end helped secure a tight 19 – 15 win.
