Mid-week Triples – Off to a Winning Start

The season’s first mid-week triples league match took place this afternoon away at Southey. After starting strongly, Ron, Ossie and Jonathan saw their opponents peg the score back, before going into the lead. Taking a four on the last end secured a well fought draw for Wimbledon Park. Betty, Vernon and Barry took longer to get going, but once they did, they edged ahead and held on for a 21 – 17 win. Match result 7 – 1 (41 shots to 37).
