Surrey Secretaries’ Result

6th June – this evening Barry welcomed Bolingbroke to Wimbledon Park for the Surrey Secretaries’ match. On a rink that had some tricky lines, Barry started slowly and when he did draw well, was taken out by some accurate bowls played against him. At 0 – 10, things were not going well and unfortunately for Barry this was how the game continued. When Barry did play well, the Bolingbroke Secretary frequently played a better bowl to take him out and when Barry didn’t draw as well as he would have liked, his opponent did. The final score was  a very creditable 21 – 10 to Bolingbroke.
