Surrey Secretaries Spectacle

This evening Barry took on Belmont for a place in the County Quarter-final of the Surrey Secretaries Competition. In a game in which the lead changed hands on multiple occasions Barry came from 6 – 11 down to lead 14 – 12, only for his opponent to sneak back ahead, leaving Barry 14 – 15 behind. Another rally from Barry took him to an 18 – 15 lead, only for his opponent to pick up a 2, a rather untidy 3 and then a further 2 to take him across the finishing line. Final score 18 – 21. Well done Barry for getting to the last 16 in Surrey!
