Surrey through to the Quarter-Final of the Middleton Cup

July 9th – Jonathan, leading for Surrey in their final group game, was part of the top rink as Surrey took on Buckinghamshire in the Middleton Cup. Although not feeling that he had bowled at his best, Jonathan’s rink posted a 36 – 11 win, to aid Surrey to a 140 shots to 94 victory, claiming 20 out of the 22 available points. The quarter-final will be against Kent, with the winning county going through to the National Semi-finals at Leamington.
