Surrey Triples on a Very Tricky Green

This evening Barry, Jonathan and Neil visited Colliers Wood in the Surrey Triples. Playing on what proved to be a very tricky green, home advantage told early on as Colliers Wood took a 9 – 2 lead after 5 ends. 3 ends later the deficit had been reduced to 2 shots before Colliers Wood picked up a 5! Despite battling back and reducing the lead to just 3 shots, that was as close as Wimbledon Park got and the last few ends went to Colliers Wood who eventually won 25 – 13.
