Terrific Team Performance in the District Top 10 Competition

July 24th – This evening Wimbledon Park took on a strong Heathfield side in the Quarter-final of the District Top 10 competition. The Singles, played away at Heathfield was the first discipline to finish and saw Neil win 21 – 11. Back at home the Pairs and the Triples finished together with George and Vernon putting together a great recovery to win 21 – 16, whilst Alison, Sabrina and Barry kept the scores close going down 11 – 19. The final discipline saw a tight end to the fours, with Heathfield edging the last end to win 22 – 12. Match result… Heathfield won 68 shots to 65. A fantastic achievement to come so close; well done to all those involved!
