Not to Be in This Evening’s District Competitions

July 24th – This evening Barry travelled to Heathfield to continue the defence of his Over 60s District Singles title. In a close fought encounter however, it was his opponent who prevailed, booking a place in the Quarter-final with a 21 – 17 win. Back at Wimbledon Park Neil took on Belmont in the Champion of Champions competition. Starting poorly Neil trailed 3 – 10, before playing his way back in to be one behind at 9 – 10. Unfortunately that was as close as it got as Belmont continued to play well winning 21 – 9.
