Tight in the Area 1 Four’s Final

June 19th – Barry, Pete, Martin and Neil took on Wandilea in the Area final of the Surrey Men’s Four’s this evening over at Shirley Park BC. Starting strongly, Wimbledon Park opened up an eight shot lead by the 10th end, only for their opponents to chip away over the next few ends, finally taking the lead themselves by the 15th end. The last few ends were close but it was Wandilea who prevailed, advancing to the county quarter-final’s with a 21 – 17 win.
