Tough Opening Mid-week League Match

10th May – This afternoon saw Wimbledon Park travel to Heathfield BC for the first match in the mid-week triples league. Anne, Rosalind and Barry had a tight tussle and despite winning 10 of the 18 ends, narrowly lost 15 – 17. Hector, Helen and Vernon found their opponents on form eventually going down 5 – 31. Match result 0 – 8 (20 shots to 48). Thanks to all who were able to play in the fixture.
