Two District Competitions – Two More Semi-final Places Secured

July 31st – This evening up at Heathfield, Sabrina played the quarter-final of the Ladies’ Singles competition. Dropping two shots on the first end spurred Sabrina on to win  the next 12 ends and open up a 17 – 2 lead. 5 ends later and Sabrina had booked a place in the Semi-final with a 21 – 5 win.

Over at Streatham Park Barry, Martin and Neil played the quarter-final of the Men’s Triples. Starting well, Wimbledon Park led 10 – 2 after 7 ends, a lead that was reduced to 3 shots, two ends later. Winning 6 of the next 7 ends saw WPBC secure the second Semi-final of the evening with a 20 – 9 win.
