What a Great Start to May!

Our first Saturday taster session got off to a flying start with three visitors in attendance. Having enjoyed their time on the green, each of our visitors joined the club there and then and so we welcome John, Katie and Rosie and look forward to getting to know you both on and off the green.

Elsewhere, the first round of the National Mixed Pairs was taking place as Sabrina and Jonathan took on the 2016 Wimbledon and District Champions from Streatham Park. With only two shots separating the pairs at the half way point a strong second half saw Wimbledon Park pull away to win 29 – 14.

In the afternoon, fifteen players took to the green for a club drive, getting the 2017 season off to a great start.
