15.6.21 What a Turnaround!

This evening Barry, Richard S and Neil were away at Belmont in the Surrey men’s Triples. 5 ends in and they were facing an uphill struggle at 0 – 8. 3 ends later and they were back in it at 7 – 8. With the Belmont skip continuing to bowl well, WPBC found themselves 11 – 16 down with 2 ends to play. A score of 3 and 2 on the final two ends saw Wimbledon Park tie the game and 2 shots on the extra end saw them into the next round with an 18 – 16 win.
