17.6.21 A Real Soaking in the Surrey Men’s Pairs

This evening, Barry and Neil were up at Heathfield in the Surrey Men’s Pairs. In the 18 end game, Wimbledon Park battled well early on to lead 13 – 6 after 10 ends. 5 ends later and Heathfield had levelled at 13 – 13. A single and a four, in the next two ends proved decisive and despite the weather pouring its worst on to the green, it was WPBC who advanced to the next round with an 18 – 14 win.
