This afternoon, which turned out to be a very hot and sunny one, Wimbledon Park travelled to Colliers Wood for their latest league match. Ralph, Helen, Pete and Martin were the first rink to finish and having won 15 ends to 6, came off with a 27 - 13 victory. Following Jonathan's success last week in the District Singles, this evening Neil also played Heathfield in the Men's Singles. Level after 6 ends at 8 - 8, Neil opened up a 6 shot margin to lead 16 - 10 at 11 ends, only for his opponent to win the next 5 ends to go ahead 18 - 16. The final three ends however went to Neil and he just edged home 21 - 18.

This afternoon Wimbledon Park took on league leaders Raynes Park in the Mid-week triples.
