26.7.22 Over at Wandilea this evening both Sara and Neil and Sabrina and Barry played the 1/4 final of the District Mixed Pairs. First to finish, Sara and Neil were consistently outdrawn, going down 14 - 23. Sabrina and Barry fought back from 6 - 14, to 13 - 14, but the last few ends went in favour of the home team who managed to win 20 - 14.

24.7.22 This morning, Claire T and Martin played Southey in the 1/4 final of the District Mixed Pairs. A confident start saw WPBC build a solid lead and with three ends to play the score was 13 - 7. Unfortunately, Southey then managed to win the final three ends with counts of 4, 2 and 3, preventing Wimbledon Park from securing a place in the semi-final.

23.7.22 This morning Claire T and Martin hosted Wandilea in the Surrey Mixed Pairs. Starting strongly, Wimbledon Park led 8 - 0 after 4 ends, but Wandilea battled back to narrow the gap to 16 - 13 with three ends to play. Drawing well on end 15 saw WPBC pick up 5 shots, which helped them to win the game 23 - 14. They now face Wandilea again in the Area 1 ...

22.7.22 This afternoon up at Heathfield, Sara, Barry and Neil played their 1/4 final of the District Mixed Triples. Drawing well from the start, they managed to limit their opponents to winning two ends, booking a place in the semi-final with a 25 - 3 win.

21.7.22 This evening, in Wimbledon Park, Martin played Merton in the District Champion of Champions. In a very good game, Martin booked a place in the semi-finals with a 21 - 17 win.

21.7.22 This afternoon over at Southey, Neil played Epsom Park in the Area Final of the National Senior Singles. With his opponent starting strongly, Neil found himself 4 - 11 down, before rallying to get back to 9 - 12. That was as close as it got though, as Epsom Park advanced to the South of England regional finals with a 21 - 10 win.
