29.8.19 - This evening, up at Heathfield, Neil played Streatham Park in the Semi-Final of the District Men's Singles. Starting well, Neil led 6 - 1 after 3 ends, before his opponent levelled at 6 - 6, two ends later. 8 ends later and, helped by some good fortune, it was all over with Neil advancing to the Final with a 21 - 7 win.

28.8.19 - This evening we had two District Semi-Finals being played. Over at Streatham Park Sabrina played Wandilea in the Semi-Final of the Ladies' Singles. 27.8.19 - This evening Barry and Neil were up at Heathfield playing Merton in the Semi-Final of the District Men's Pairs. Leading 10 - 4 after 5 ends, Wimbledon Park saw Merton come back strongly to level the scores at 10 - 10. The second half however belonged to WPBC who went on to win 23 - 15 to book the club's 3rd District Final place.
