September 4th - this evening, following the club finals, Jonathan headed up to Heathfield BC to play the semi-final of the Wimbledon and District Men's Singles. Playing against Wandilea Jonathan found his opponent in fine form, eventually going down 8 - 21.

September 4th - Day 2 continued in the same vein as Day 1. Once again the enthusiasm of the finalists and supporters was wonderful to see, as was the quality of the bowls played!

August 28th - this afternoon we welcomed Mitcham, the league leaders, to Wimbledon Park for our latest league fixture. Hector, Betty, Pete and Martin found themselves 0 - 6 after 3 ends, but turned this around to lead 14 - 6 after 8 ends. August 27th - this afternoon Barry and Neil played Wandilea in the semi-final of the Wimbledon and District Men's Pairs competition. Playing up at South London, on what turned out to be a fast rink, it proved difficult to draw to the jack, however it was the Wandilea bowlers who settled quickest going on to book their place in the final with a 28 - 14 win.

August 25th - this evening up at Heathfield Sabrina played the semi-final of the District Mixed Singles against Belmont. Finding the going tough on an end rink, Sabrina saw her opponent pull away with the Belmont bowler going through to the final, where he will play Neil, after a 21 - 8 win.
