Not to be in the District Men’s Singles

September 4th – this evening, following the club finals, Jonathan headed up to Heathfield BC to play the semi-final of the Wimbledon and District Men’s Singles. Playing against Wandilea Jonathan found his opponent in fine form, eventually going down 8 – 21.

WPBC have finalists in four events at the District Finals, hosted by South London BC on Sunday 11th September. Barry is in the Men’s Over 60s Singles, Neil is in the Mixed Singles, Barry, Martin and Neil are in the Men’s Triples and Jonathan (skipping Rose and Don from Belmont) is in the Mixed Triples.
