2nd District Final Place is Booked

23.8.19 – This evening Barry, Richard and Neil played Bolingbroke up at Heathfield BC in the Semi-Final of the District Men’s Triples. In what turned out to be rather a topsy-turvy game in terms of scoring, Wimbledon Park led 7 – 1 after 4 ends, but only 7 – 6 after 8. 3 ends later and the score stood at 16 – 6, before Bolingbroke again came back to close the gap to 16 – 12. The final two ends played saw WPBC pick up a 4 and a 2 to secure a place in the Final with a 22 – 12 win.
