A Tight Game in the National Champion of Champions Competition

5.7.18 – This evening Neil went over to West Wimbledon to play the Surrey 1/4 final of the National Champion of Champions competition. Starting well, Neil led 11 – 4 after 8 ends, before his opponent fought back to level the scores at 11 – 11, 5 ends later. At 18 ends the scores were still locked at 16 – 16 before the West Wimbledon bowler eased ahead 20 – 16. Two 2s from Neil left a one end shoot out which Neil managed to win on a measure. The Surrey 1/2 final awaits!
