Mid-Week Triples Win

5.7.18 – This afternoon we headed to Belmont for our latest Mid-week Triples match. Steve, Anne and Vernon found the going tough early on and were 5 – 11 down at the half way point. A strong second half changed the result with WPBC winning 7 of the final 9 ends to win 16 – 13. Rosalind, Ange and Barry scored well early on and a 6 on the 14th end saw them increase their lead to 19 – 9. Belmont finished strongly however but we held on to win 20 – 17. Match result 8 – 0 (36 shots to 30).
