District Triples Success Despite the Green

3.7.18 – This evening we welcomed Belmont to Wimbledon Park for the opening game in the Wimbledon and District Men’s Triples. Barry, Martin and Neil started well on a green that proved tricky to all the players, opening up a 9 – 0 lead after 5 ends. The Belmont skip kept the score down with some accurate drawing and after the 12th end the gap was down to four at 11 – 7. The final ends belonged to WPBC  and with a five on the final end the win was secured by 23 shots to 11.
