Another Win in the Mid-week Triples League

July 26th – This afternoon we welcomed Streatham Park for our latest mid-week triples match. Helen, Vernon and Barry put in a strong second half performance, capped off by a brilliant last end which saw Barry trail the jack for shot bowl when he was 4 down, to overturn a 5- 12 deficit, going on to win 19 – 16. Ange, Ossie and Neil conceded 6 shots in the opening two ends but rallied to win 16 – 14. The match result was a win 8 – 0 (35 shots to 30) taking us to 2nd in the league.
