First Mid-Week Triples Match

7.6.18 – This afternoon we hosted Streatham Park for our opening encounter in the Wimbledon and District Mid-week Triples League. After 11 ends, Stephen, Ossie and Vernon were tied at 14 – 14 but the last seven ends were won by Streatham who took the game 26 – 14. Anne, Derek and Barry found the going tough from the start and were 3 – 11 down at the half way point. The second half was a little more even but Streatham took the points winning 17 – 8. Match result 0 – 8 (22 shots to 43).
