First Success in the Surrey Men’s Fours

17.6.19 – This evening Pete, George, Martin and Neil travelled over to Croydon Municipal Officers BC for the first match in the Surrey Men’s Fours. In a match that was played in a great atmosphere, honours were shared in the opening ends with the scores at 6 – 8  after 9 ends. A run of 3, 3, 3, 2, 3, 4 to Wimbledon Park transformed the game and despite valiant efforts Croydon MO were kept to five singles over the next five ends, leaving WPBC to book their place in the next round with a 24 – 13 win.
