Fourth Mid-Week Triples League Match

19.6.19 – This afternoon on yet another rainy day, we travelled to Streatham Park for the return mid-week triples match. Anne, Ange and Ossie started well leading 10 – 3 after 11 ends. Unfortunately for Wimbledon Park the next three ends proved decisive as the hosts picked up counts of 3, 3 and 5 to lead 14 – 10. The final ends were shared with Streatham Park the victors by 16 shots to 13. Rosalind, Vernon and Richard found the going tougher with two scores of 7 against them proving costly. With the score at 3 – 18 after 9 ends and the second half being shared 12 – 12, the final score was 15 – 30. Match result 0 – 8 (28 shots to 46).
