School’s Taster Session and Surrey Men’s Pairs

On Monday afternoon we had our training session for 55 Year 5 children from Holy Trinity C of E Primary School. On a lovely afternoon, the children were given the opportunity to try their hands at bowls. The improvement during the hour that each class had was quite amazing and the comments back from the teachers afterwards were full of praise for the session. A big thank you to Barry, Claire T, Richard S and Yvonne for their help.  In the evening Barry and Neil played their Surrey Pairs against Southwark Sports. Drawing well from the start WPBC were 15 – 2 up after 8 ends, going on to win 25 – 6.
