Second Area Final Place Confirmed

22nd – This evening Pete and Martin took on Colliers Wood in the semi-final of the Surrey Area 1 Men’s Pairs. In a game of three thirds, Pete and Martin started strongly leading 12 – 1 after 6 ends. 7 ends later and Colliers Wood had turned the game around to trail by three shots at 10 – 13. The final third belonged to Wimbledon Park as Pete and Martin dominated to take the game 26 – 11. Next week’s Area 1 Pairs final will take place at Wandilea BC.
