Surrey Secretaries’ Area 1 Semi-final

June 20th – This evening Barry headed to Heathfield to play the semi-final of the Surrey Area 1 Secretaries’ competition. Starting confidently Barry drew well in the opening ends. When holding three close shots his Heathfield opponent played in to them taking the jack for a count of 4. With that shot the game changed and Barry found himself on the receiving end as his opponent put the pressure on eventually emerging as the winner, 21 – 8.
