Semi-Final of the Aggregate Shield

12.9.18 – This evening’s club-night saw the semi-final of the Aggregate Shield. Having gained points throughout the season for attending club-night on a Wednesday, the highest four points scorers were drawn to play each other with Rosalind and Barry playing Pete and Neil over twelve ends. After 6 ends each pair changed places with their partner so that the lead became skip, and vice versa. In a game of high quality drawing from all four players, it was Pete and Neil who emerged as the winners. Next Wednesday, again over twelve ends, Pete and Neil will play the final to decide who will hold the Aggregate Shield for 2018.
